Hi, my name is Rob Chavasse, a carpenter, builder and restorer, specialising in small-scale projects that transform your home. Working closely with clients, from design to full completion, I have a broad range of skills that allows me to keep the majority of projects in house, saving you the complexity of switching between tradespeople. My background and education in fine art have taught me an acute sensitivity towards material and finish, which I apply to every job. My family trade is antique restoration, which has shaped an ethos I bring to all my work — an emphasis on repairing over replacing, and an eye for period-accurate detail.

Based in Folkestone, covering:
Folkestone • Hythe • Sandgate • Dover • Deal • Walmer • Ashford • Canterbury

Fancy a chat about your project? Give me a call or drop me an email — always happy to talk through ideas, no job too big or small. All clients are welcome — this is an LGBTQ+ friendly business.
